SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNEL ANALYSIS
HOW SOCIAL IS SOCIAL MEDIA?
BPA's Social Media Channel Analysis helps gain understanding of the media owner's use of social media, and sharpens your media buying decision. Social is here to stay, and your understanding of how the media owner uses social with its audience is important. BPA has developed tools to measure it and helps make buying your media better!
Media owners may also include Social Media data on the BPA Brand Report because of the increasing popularity of these channels. At the latest count, there were over 205 social media channel options (along with 346 footnotes explaining those channels). Who can keep up?
BPA's efforts to help you keep up include reporting on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn metrics, three of the most frequently used social media channels. Until better audience "engagement" metrics are made available, the BPA reports will give you the basis to make an informed decision in one place.
Of course, the media owner can enhance that information, as your own investigations can as well. For example, the total "connections" at the end of the reporting period are reported. Total participants at the start of the period, monthly totals and period-ending totals for each type/platform are also included.
Our goal is delivering information that helps you make media buying better!
